|Singapore noodles tends to be flavorful. It has a heavy curry taste, but that should not deter you from trying it out. Make it spicy or mild. Here's how you do it.
Things You'll need:
1 pound dry yellow noodles
2 skinless chicken breasts
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
2 carrots, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons curry powder
1/4 cup water
Bring a pot of water to boil. Blanch the noodles in boiling water for two minutes. Remove from water and set aside.
In a deep skillet or fry pan, toss in the chicken and garlic in the oil over medium-high heat until golden grown and aromatic.
Reduce heat to medium-low, and add the onion, carrots and water; cover and steam for 5 minutes.
Mix in the curry powder and soy sauce.
Stir for 4 to 5 minutes until it is well blended.
Toss with noodles, and serve with the option of hot pepper sauce and soy sauce as condiments.
Don't add too much soy sauce, it'll get too salty.
