trick yourself into feeling full

These are tried and true tips--perhaps obvious to most of you sophisticated wehowers, but perhaps new to some. Uchhh--when is some GENIUS just gonna come up with an all In and Out diet which will keep us svelte and hot?

Water. Duh. Everyone knows this. If you drink a ton of water, you'll have to pee a whole lot. Oh. And you'll feel fuller all the time and you'll eat far less.

When ordering from restaurant menus, try to order a non cream-based soup. If you eat a hearty bowl of delish soup, you'll be at least halfway through part of the digestive process by the time your entree arrives. We only truly know how full we are TWENTY MINUTES after eating. After soup, you'll no doubt be bringing your tin foil swan pork loin home with you.

Chew a ton of sugar-free gum. Chewing keeps you orally stimulated and you'll think about food less. You'll also be enjoying some half-heinous, half-delicious fake apple or orange or mint or grape flavor throughout the day!

The later you eat at night, the hungrier you'll be in the morning. Don't ask me why--I'm not a freaking food doctor, y' all. It just is what it is. Maybe it's our biology telling us it's a mortal sin to eat after 7pm. Or is it Oprah?

When you do eat a full meal, be sure it's high in flavor. Not "fat" necessarily: how delicious is fat?--but things like herbs, garlic, vinegar, soy, etc...Or bacon.Or pate.Or butter.Ohhhh butter.

Try sparkling water over still water--although it sounds somewhat ridiculous, that extra texture, or "Exture" as I like to call it, almost tricks you into thinking you're chewing.

Make Chocolate Snack Cake

This moist, yummy fudge cake is mixed right in the pan, and can go from start to the table in less than an hour. It also contains no dairy or eggs, so it's a great treat for anyone with allergies to those ingredients. For the same reason, it's also a very inexpensive treat. And, it's vegan, so it's suitable for any and all vegetarians.

Ingredients:

  • 8 by 8 inch Baking pan (or 9 by 9 inch)
  • All purpose flour (not self-rising)
  • White sugar
  • Unsweetened cocoa
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • White or cider vinegar
  • Vegetable oil
  • Vanilla (or other) flavoring
  • Water
  • Fork or whisk
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2:
To dry baking pan, add 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa, 1 tsp. baking soda, and 1/2 tsp. salt to baking pan. Combine thoroughly with fork or whisk.

Step 3:
Make 3 hollows in dry ingredients. Add 1 tsp. vanilla to one hollow. Add 3 tbsp. vegetable oil to the second hollow. Add 2 tsp. vinegar to third hollow.

Step 4:
Immediately pour 1 cup room temperature water over all ingredients, and stir well with fork or whisk to combine. There may still be a small streak of flour here or there, or a few small lumps. That's okay.

Step 5:
Quickly put cake in oven. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until cake springs back when gently pressed in the center.

Step 6:
Cool slightly, then serve. You may dust the cake with powdered sugar for decoration, or you can frost it, but it's also great plain. It's also delicious hot served with ice cream.

Spaghetti & Meatballs

This food here only comes from the can, it should be cooked in the microwave or stove. Go to Walmart and buy a can that is made as the name "Great Value". You can look at the instructions in the back of the can for microwave but cook the food long until it is bubbly and real hot.

Ingredients:
  • Safe Dish
  • Fork
Step 1:
Take out a can of spaghetti and meatballs out of the cabinet.

Step 2:
Get yourself a microwave safe dish bowl and put it on the counter.

Step 3:
Empty the whole can into the bowl and place it in the microwave.

Step 4:
Cook it on high for 3 minutes or until hot.

Step 5:
Take out a fork, open up the microwave without stopping the time, stir the food once during the heat and close it up to let finished cooking until hot.

Step 6:
When the food is finished, take it out quickly and wait for about a minute until serving.

Step 7:
Use the same fork you had to stir it again before serving.

Relevent Tips
Never eat the food after it is done because it is too steamy and hot, it can burn your mouth.

less sugar!!

There may be many reasons why you may want to cut down on your sugar intake. Most of us could not cut out sugar from our diet, but we can work to use alternative to sugar. Once we make this change to use less sugar, we will start feeling so good. Here are a few different things to try as alternatives to sugar.

The first and simplest way is to cut down on sugar in your recipes. You can’t cut out the sugar altogether, but you can cut down about ¼ cup or so. On those old family recipes that you cannot bare to let go of. You can reduce the sugar yet maintain the recipe’s integrity.

Unsweetened applesauce can be used for at least half the sugar in any recipe.

Use unsweetened juices such as pineapple or apple. Remember when you use juices in the place of sugar, you have to use more flour or dry ingredient. So it is best to use a recipe from the internet or a cookbook that is designed for less sugar and using unsweetened juices.

Mashed bananas are another sweetener alternative to use in place of sugar.

Use fruit puree or fruit nectar in place of sugar.

Honey can be used in place of sugar. Our body uses honey much easier which mean that it will not sit and turn to fat. The one thing to remember about honey is that you will use less than sugar in your recipe.

Stevia is a natural plant product instead of sugar. To find Stevia in your area you may have to search, otherwise check online.

Quick and Easy Pepsi Cola Chicken

Want barbecue chicken but do not have the time to fire up the grill? Out of barbecue sauce? I have the ultimate barbecue chicken recipe that does not take a ton of time or special ingredients.

Ingrediensts:
3 or 4 Preferred Chicken Parts
One Can of Pepsi
3 Cups Ketchup
Oven approved Baking Dish

Step 1:
Heat your oven on 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix 3 cups of ketchup with one can of Pepsi. Want more? Double the recipe. The consistency of the mix should be about the same as barbecue sauce.

Step 2:
Prepare chicken by using the spices you prefer. I use garlic salt and pepper. Use whatever spice is to your taste and coat each piece be careful not to use too much, I usually spice both sides with just a pinch between my fingers.

Step 3:
Place spiced chicken in an oven approved baking dish. The size is determined by how many pieces of chicken you want to cook. If you go over 5 pieces of chicken you may want a larger amount of sauce.

Step 4:
Pour the ketchup and Pepsi ingredients over the chicken. If you do not have enough the recipe can be increased by using more portion to portion on the ketchup and Pepsi you can also condense to prepare a small amount. (1 1/2 cups Ketchup to 1/2 can of Pepsi).

Step 5:
Place the pan of chicken (do not cover) in the oven. Set the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour (depending on your taste of doneness). The sauce should be a drier consistency similar to barbecue on the grill. Ovens vary so you have to determine the exact time. Then out comes some of the best barbecue chicken in the South!

Warning cowboys!
There is no science involved in this recipe. You mix to your taste. That is why this recipe is so good.
